TWO WAYS TO PLAY:

1. THE SOLO GAMBIT MODE
Solve 50 distinct tactical puzzles and preset custom matches with unique objectives. In this mode, you play as an island LOCAL defending your coastline. You will face off against encroaching VISITORS who all have different AI personality traits—some are much smarter than others, let's just say, requiring you to constantly adapt your strategy!

2. THE CUSTOM MATCH ARENA
This is your sandbox. Gather your friends at home on the couch for classic local "Pass and Play", or challenge a friend on separate screens from anywhere in the world using Steam Remote Play Together. Host a 2–4 player game with a ton of variations to explore: draft your characters, customize the table setups, and experiment with different character skills to find your perfect playstyle.

Don't spend hours reading a manual. You can learn the entire game organically just by playing through the first 4 Gambits of the main campaign.
